This original composition started with an old tractor I sketched at an antique farm show. I chose to put the tractor beside a barn because with my farm background I had seen tractors like this moved outside and forgotten about as they were replaced with newer models.
This is the first carving of this sketch.
This is also a free-form relief because the outside takes on the shape of the carving.
